Collection of Minoan and Mycenean seals
The Danish Institute houses a large collection of plaster casts of 724 Minoan and Mycenaean seals.
The collection was donated by Dr Erik Hallager, former director of the Institute, and can be studied by appointment at the Institute, where it is stored.
The Dimitris Christodoulou Archive
The Dimitris Christodoulou Archive is on permanent loan from Dimitris Christodoulou’s widow. The archive, now housed at The Nordic Library contains personal letters, manuscripts, photographs, both published and unpublished material, LPs, shorter and longer videos and much more. The archive can be accessed during the library’s opening hours.
The Nicholas and Elena Calas Archive
In 1999 the Danish Institute at Athens received the material that was to become the Nicolas and Elena Calas Archive. The material, which consists of e.g. letters, essays, articles and photos can be consulted in the reading room of the Nordic Library. The archive can be accessed during the library’s opening hours.
