NANA-FRANCISCA SCHOTTLÄNDER: ORACUCLAR. PERFORMANCE AND ARTIST TALK

Nana-Francisca Schottländer is a Copenhagen-based artist working at the intersection between dance, performance, installation, and conceptual art. Her work revolves around encounters and intra-actions with other-than-human entities and phenomena such as rocks, fungi, water, soil, and entire geographical areas with their inherent lifeforms and dynamics. Central to her work is the use of her own body as a living tool for research and creation.

Nana Francisca is staying at The Danish Institute at Athens in Fall 2025 to do research for her new work entitled Oracular. At the event, Nana-Francisca will share some of this research through a performance, followed by a discussion of this work in the context of her wider artistic practice.
